Personal Care
Personal Care, also referred to as Domiciliary Care is a widely used and needed service.
Personal care can be provided to anyone at any stage of life – post a hospital stay, at the onset of mental health problems, or once sensory impairment or physical disabilities have developed.
We can ensure you receive all your personal needs that maintain dignity and respectability, by care workers who are professional and understanding that are able to make you feel as comfortable and well cared for as possible.
This service can be tailored individually within your whole care package such as timing and your own personal regime. It can range from a visit once a day for an hour to full live-in home care (in which a carer is with you day and night).
Respite
Respite care allows regular carers, such as family members or friends, to take time off from caring and concentrate on their own wellbeing. Whether you choose to catch up on sleep or attend social activities, respite care allows you to take a deserved break.
We can offer a respite service that can allow carers to have some personal time for themselves so that they can focus on themselves entirely, as in turn the healthier and happier a primary carer is, the better they can be there for the person they’re helping.
Providing constant care for a loved one can become all-encompassing, so our respite care can help alleviate some of that stress and pressure. After all, even the most supportive carers will benefit from unwinding.
The times and days can be whatever suits you, all arranged during the care planning stage or as time progresses, again, it’s entirely up to you.
Live in Care
Live-in home care provides you with a full-time carer who will live in your home to provide you with 24-hour care, whether you require care little and often, or round the clock specialist care for a complex health condition. Our live-in carers are trained to the highest industry standards to offer you a person-centred and professional service.
A live-in carer can make an incredible difference to your life. While many people assume they can only support with personal care, mobility problems and administering medication, they can assist with so much more.
One of the main benefits of live in care is that it helps clients and care recipients retain as much of their independence and dignity as possible whilst they safely receive a service tailored to their needs.
With our live in home carers, customers are able to maintain ownership of their homes and stay living in their known environment – which is essential for mental health and wellbeing.
Palliative Care
We understand that although staying at home is the preference for most, the fear, emotional hurdles and practicalities of caring for someone at this stage of life can be challenging.
Reflecting this, we have a dedicated palliative support service for not only our clients, but also their loved ones.
Our End of Life services champion dignity, compassion and respect as an absolute priority in everything they do.
The ethos behind this service is to mirror that of the highly respected hospice movement. It is designed to actively join up with all involved in the palliative journey, whether it be another care team, a family or a hospice – to ensure the very highest quality of care is provided at such an important time.
House Keeping & Domestic Help
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation can be very important and can be a large part of the care package if desired.
Domestic Care includes all aspects of cleaning above and beyond the basic hygiene that caring involves and can include – laundry, ironing, hoovering, dusting and polishing.
We also can include a large spring clean and organisation as well as hourly upkeep.
